We were incredibly lucky to be able to be with our wonderful friends Paul and Melody for the blessing of their darling baby Eirik. Later they helped us drive our new 4-runner pulling a U-haul trailer to our new home in Ohio. We drove for about 42 hours with only short breaks. It was actually a very fun trip. Eirik was such a trooper and slept a lot of the time so we could get in long stretches of driving. We were so grateful to have Paul and Mel the whole time! They helped us unpack and Mel, who is an incredibly talented interior designer, helped us decorate our new apartment. It looks so good I can’t believe we actually live here! The apartment is even better than it was in the pictures and we love our neighborhood. It is very strange to be living in the big city but there are so many trees it is like living in a park. It is very different from Utah and we were so glad to have Paul and Mel to ease the abruptness of leaving everyone there. We miss you all but we are getting more and more excited for this next phase of our lives.
