Well, we have been here a month and, boy, have we been busy. Basil is in his third week of medical school and has really been enjoying it (when he isn’t terrified or overwhelmed by it). He comes home so excited and eager to share all that he has been learning. One of his favorite things was going to the Hispanic Senior Citizen’s Center and learning about diabetes there. He hopes to continue visiting the Senior Center if he has the chance. We had a wonderful visit from Basil’s mom last weekend. She came out for Basil's white coat ceremony where he was “officially welcomed into the field of medicine.” We were very proud of him and impressed to be reminded of what a prestigious school Case Western Reserve University is.

Kristen has been working on her on-line classes and distracting herself by starting to paint again.
