Yay, we had a visit from the Aanderuds last weekend and it was glorious! Paul and Basil enjoyed dual gaming like there hasn't been since days of yore and fed the girls some world class steak- we both ate as much as the boys. Mel and Kit shared some serious crafter inspiration and had great success at the thrift store.
The most fun part, though, was the boys. They just get cutier every time. Eirik is so smart and funny. He stays right with the conversation and has an incredible vocabulary (don't worry, I don't mean like Paul's sailor vocabulary). Joren is such a bundle of sweet! A two month old is just our pace and we loved breaking in some of Ro's toys on him.
Base wasted no time corrupting the youth and Eirik was a natural at mario soccer, much to his mother's chagrin. His speciality is dual wield with two controllers. Mel is a good sport and got some lessons from Eirik Sensei.
